Sereia by Sophie began the way the best things do — with a walk on a Florida beach, a pocket full of shells, and a little girl with a big imagination.
Sophie is the heart, hands, and imagination behind every piece in this shop. Sereia means "mermaid" in Portuguese — and if you ask Sophie, that's not a coincidence. She's always believed the ocean leaves little gifts on the sand for the people who take the time to look.
Sophie's first creations began with those little gifts from the sea. She chooses shells with beautiful shapes, cleans and prepares them by hand, then decorates them with soft ocean blues, creamy whites, palms, blossoms, starfish, and — of course — mermaids. What began with shells is now growing into a collection of handmade coastal treasures, including suncatchers, keychains, and other ocean-inspired pieces.
No matter what she creates, each piece is made individually with the playful, coastal style that makes it unmistakably Sereia by Sophie.
